Recently, the "Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality Series Textbooks," edited by Professor Wei Yi-Ming, the Director of the Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research at Beijing Institute of Technology, have been officially published and distributed by China Renmin University Press. This textbook series has been included in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's "14th Five-Year Plan" for educational materials.

This series of textbooks includes three volumes: "Introduction to Carbon Emission Reduction Management," "Carbon Finance," and "Carbon Emission Reduction Technology and Economic Management." Among them: "Introduction to Carbon Emission Reduction Management" provides an introductory overview of the fundamental aspects of carbon emission reduction management. It systematically addresses questions such as why carbon emission reduction management is necessary, where carbon emissions come from, how to manage them, and the impacts of management. "Carbon Finance" is grounded in the context of China's carbon finance development. It comprehensively introduces theories of carbon finance, carbon emissions trading systems, carbon financial instruments, carbon financial risks, and carbon financial regulations. "Carbon Emission Reduction Technology and Economic Management" focuses on carbon-intensive industries. It highlights the current industry status, product manufacturing processes, an overview of carbon emission reduction technologies, relevant policy measures, and elucidates the theory and methods of economic management in the context of carbon emission reduction technology.

This series of textbooks caters to the needs of China's major national strategies. Drawing on the long-term accumulation of scientific research and talent development in the fields of energy and carbon emission reduction at the Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research at Beijing Institute of Technology, these textbooks provide a multidimensional perspective on the foundational knowledge related to carbon peak and carbon neutrality. They encompass the interdisciplinary integration of engineering, management, economics, and geology. The content ranges from basic to advanced, making it suitable for undergraduate and graduate teaching in the field of carbon peak and carbon neutrality. Additionally, they serve as training materials or self-study references for researchers, business managers, and government officials involved in carbon emission reduction.
