On May 27, 2023, the comprehensive cooperative platform jointly established by the Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research at Beijing Institute of Technology and Shandong Guoshun Construction Group Co., Ltd., the "Innovation Research Institute for Low-Carbon Technology and Engineering Management," was officially inaugurated.

   The unveiling ceremony was attended by Mr. Sun Deshan, Chairman of Shandong Guoshun Construction Group Co., Ltd., Mr. Dai Yande, former Director of the Energy Research Institute of the National Development and Reform Commission, Mr. He Ping, Director of Industrial Projects at the American Energy Foundation, as well as some representatives of faculty and students from CEEP.

   This research institute aims to promote in-depth integration of industry and education in areas such as scientific research, outcome transformation, and talent cultivation. It seeks to achieve a win-win partnership between academia and industry and foster collaborative innovation development while also contributing to the national "dual carbon" strategy.
